Business Development
A Business Developer contributes to the success of an organization by driving the growth and profitability of the company.
Job Duties
- Work with sales, marketing and customer service to understand market trends and customer needs.
- Work with engineering to drive execution on key platform product development.
- Develop and give presentation to prospective customers and internal executives.
- Negotiate contract terms with customers and communicate with stakeholders.
- Prospecting target market accounts.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Proposal generation.
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Computer proficiency with work processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize consultative selling strategies and tactics in a competitive sales environment.
