Controls Engineer
A controls engineer designs and develops all aspects of electrical control systems for automated machinery, and is responsible for the application and technical support of PLC and servo based hardware and software.

Job Duties
- Prepare detailed designs based on written and verbal specifications of desired machinery function
- Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements
- Troubleshoot problems occurring during development, assembly, testing or commissioning of machinery
- Plan preventative maintenance
- Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions
- Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to generate and validate design concepts aimed at delivering customer specified solutions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality product designs, including performance, timeline and project budget considerations
- Demonstrate ability to accept responsibility and accountability for new and varied assignments
- Excellent technical, verbal communication, organizational and problem solving skills
- Technical proficiency in some software applications
- Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems
