Validation Engineer

A Validation Engineer ensures that packaging systems, materials, and processes comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and company requirements.

Job Duties

• Test and evaluate new and existing products of moderate to advanced complexity
• Develop and execute validation protocols for packaging lines and equipment
• Create accurate and thorough documentation that records all steps taken and all measurements used through the verification and validation lifecycle
• Assist with test method development activities including test fixture design, equipment acquisition, and hardware/software validation
• Conduct Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) studies
• Review and approve validation documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Qualifications:
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with industry regulations
• Expertise in validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) and testing methods for packaging systems
• Understanding of risk management principles to assess the potential impact of packaging system failures
• Familiarity with validation software, data analysis tools, and packaging design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
